“I’m at Paris Saint-Germain, I’m thrilled to be here, and I’ll give PSG my all this season.” I’ll do everything possible to help Paris win every trophy this year. Though the lengthy contract talks between PSG and Mbappé have not yet produced a breakthrough, sports director Leonardo is still confident that the French international will stay in Paris.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup champion said when asked whether he had any regrets about attempting to force an exit in the summer: “I was honest. I offered an emotion and what was in my heart.
“Paris is my city; it is where I was born and raised. Having your family and friends support you while you play for PSG is an incredible experience. It’s a goal I’ve had my entire life. I want to give my best, and I will see what happens. I have to give all I have for the next six and a half months, with all my respect for the people, the club, teammates, and myself.
In 24 games in all competitions this season, Mbappé has accrued 15 goals and 17 assists. PSG will play again on Monday in the Coupe de France against Vannes OC.
